This is a website designed for a talented watercolor artist. She really wanted a rustic feel to the site. I wanted to make sure that her site wasn't just another artist website and deliberately chose to use an off black as a background instead of just going straight to black. It was a challenge to fit all the elements on a web page without having anything become too overwhelming.
